La Tolérance du Vaccin Papillomavirus Humain chez les Patients Pédiatriques: une Evaluation du Vaccin Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS)

Résumé structuré: De récents rapports d'informations ont établi un lien entre le vaccin papillomavirus humain (HPV) et les effets secondaires chez les enfants et les adolescents. La base de données VAERS a été utilisée pour extraire des effets secondaires post-marketing rapportés chez les patients qui ont reçu le vaccin HPV. Depuis l'approbation du vaccin HPV aux Etats-Unis, les enfants et les adolescents âgés de 6–17 ans ont eu 3174 effets secondaires rapportés au VAERS. Parmi ces effets secondaires, 191 (6%) ont été considérés comme sérieux. Bien que ces effets secondaires sont d'une préoccupation significative, de plus amples recherches sont nécessaires avant que les effets secondaires puissent être directement mis en corrélation avec le vaccin.
