Revisiones Sistemáticas de Investigaciones Sobre la Práctica de Farmacia: Aspectos Metodológicos Sobre la Búsqueda, Evaluación, Interpretación, y Divulgación de Resultados.

Aunque existe un número amplio de investigaciones que demuestran los beneficios clínicos significativos que se obtienen al ofrecer atención farmacéutica, estas generalmente no han llevado a que ocurran cambios en la práctica o la política de atención de salud. Lo que se necesita pruebas se centran síntesis, tales como una revisión sistemática. Las revisiones sistemáticas se definen como un resumen que atiende una pregunta clínica enfocada usando métodos para reducir la probabilidad de sesgo. Se consideran el nivel más alto de evidencia lo cual puede ejercer un efecto en políticas al incorporarse los resultados de varios estudios. Sin embargo, las revisiones sistemáticas de investigaciones de la práctica representan unos retos metodológicos particulares, incluyendo aspectos relacionados a la búsqueda, interpretación, y evaluación de las investigaciones disponibles. Revisiones bien realizadas de intervenciones farmacéuticas podrían resultar en cambios en la práctica de la profesión y en la política de atención de salud, reconociendo el impacto importante que podrían tener los farmacéuticos en el sistema de atención de salud.
