Practice or research specialty/focus of the position: Antibiotic Stewardship
Position description: The University of Toledo College of Pharmacy is seeking well-qualified candidates in infectious diseases for a 12-month non-tenure track antibiotic stewardship faculty position at the rank of assistant or associate professor. A record of scholarship and prior teaching experience is preferred. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing his/her specialty area into an innovative research, teaching and practice model that will contribute to the College’s teaching program and extramural funding base. The practice site is located at The University of Toledo Medical Center.
Required or desired credentials or experience of applicants: PharmD with post graduate residency or fellowship training or equivalent clinical experience required. Must be eligible for licensure in Ohio.

Description of institution/organization: The University of Toledo has merged with the Medical University of Ohio. The Department has ASHP-accredited residency programs in critical care, community pharmacy practice, and is seeking accreditation for the PGY1 residency. Degrees conferred include: PharmD, BS in Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Master’s degrees in Pharmacy Administration, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, and Toxicology.
